PETTICOATS, SCOUNDRELS & SOLDIERS: THE FACES OF 1812

The Town of York Historical Society in conjunction with Single Thread Theatre Company presents Petticoats, Scoundrels and Soldiers: The Faces of 1812. The War of 1812 was a critical moment in the history of North America. At the centre of this struggle was a colourful cast of heroes, villains, strategists, and dupes. Experience 1812 through the eyes of key players and their personal stories: the bold Sir Isaac Brock, the determined Laura Secord, the stalwart James Fitzgibbons, the traitor Joseph Willcocks, and the fearless Shawnee warrior chief Tecumseh.

Proceeds benefit Toronto’s first Post Office in celebration of Toronto’s 178th birthday.
